We evaluate all applicants equally, with no preferential treatment. We believe that anyone should be given the chance for higher education programs. Our unique admissions process require you to demonstrate who you are, how you think, and what you would like to do. These components will give us the insight to your capabilities, needs, passions, and ‘why’ you want to study with the universities.

The flexibility of our semester schedule allow students to apply anytime without the pressure of application deadlines. We do not take any Application Fee from the students and they can enroll everything online.

Minimum Requirements

Students must prove that they have completed their high school but it does not require high GPA score in high school transcripts. Students who took high school certificate exam in their own country system are also eligible for entry. High school diploma and transcripts must be in English otherwise must be officially notarized by the embassy of your home country.

All applicants applying for undergraduate program must meet the age requirement of 16 years of age.

Language Requirement

IELTS 6.0 / TOEFL 80 / Duolingo 95

Students who do not meet the Language requirement can take extra English Courses. Our English courses may take 1-3 months depending on the applicants. You may take our English level test to determine how long you must take the English courses.

If you pass the English courses, you do not need to take IELTS or TOEFL. 

 

Top-up Requirement

Level 4 Diploma and Level 5 Higher Diploma with minimum PASS profile.

You do not have to register separately for Diploma and Higher Diploma programs. All the Top-up programs have diploma and higher diploma courses included in the program.

You may submit your previous college/university academic records for credit transfer. It will be reviewed by our academic teams.

How to Apply: Step by Step

  1. Complete the application form and send this to us with your supporting documents. Our staff or your GOE representative can give you guidance on anything you need.
  2. We will review your application, and if it’s successful, we’ll send you an offer to study with us.
  3. Accept your offer by paying for your deposit (For tuition fees and financing, please email us at info@goe.com or leave us your information on Contact us page).
  4. Once you have satisfied all conditions of your offer including your payment, we’ll send you an Orientation package to commence your study. We will also invite you to our ‘Group chat’ (Whatsapp, Kakaotalk, Line, Wechat, etc.) including your professors and teach assistants who will help you throughout the course.

Student can take their Top-up (final-year) online or offline (different price and conditions). If they are taking online course, the student is not eligible for a student visa.

Yes, many students taking the university program as well as Master’s program are either full-time or part-time workers. On average, it is recommended to study 12-20 hours/week depending on your courses (this is only recommended time range; student must manage their own time for study).

Yes, GOE will accept some courses taken from your previous institutions depending on the performances, relevance of the subject taught, and the qualification of the courses. Please email us your previous transcripts in English as well as diploma(if you have any) together with your applications for us to review your credits. Please note that GOE programs are based in UK qualification, and we DO NOT have any General Courses (Mathematics, philosophy, Biology, etc.) in our study. Also, acceptance of some of your credit does not necessarily mean significant reduction of tuition fees or time to complete your studies.

No, if you graduated from high school from any qualified institutions in your home country, you do not need to attend any foundation courses.

The time it takes to complete the program depends on your time spent on studying, number of courses taking and your academic performances (as well as your English skills). Typically, student studying 15 hours/week complete their program in 22-24 months.

The cost is dependent great on the university and courses you are taking. Approximately, you will need 15,000 USD to 20,000 USD to complete the entire program (Some university courses may be cheaper or more expensive).

Yes, you may apply for scholarship through our Live Your Dream Scholarship awards. Our LYDS have three-fold assessment of your application: Review of your qualification (academics, GPA, activities in previous schools, etc.), Review of who you are (personal essay, references, credentials, CV, etc.), and Review of what you can contribute (personal essay, interview, possible tests). You can start taking classes after you have been accepted to the university program and completed your orientation. We do not have fixed semesters where you must complete your given academic credits; but we will give you personal deadlines for each courses you take.

You will be able to study everything online in GOE. Your day-to-day study will be consist of few things:

  1. You will need to submit Daily Report to keep track of your studies. We will keep your attendance check with daily report.
    2. You need to use various online learning tools such as: Google Classrooms, Canvas, and our study platform websites such as edx, coursera, etc. We will guide you to use each tools during the orientation.
  2. Since most of the courses DO NOT have exams; we evaluate your study through Tasks or Assignments. Each task is different; some may ask you to write 2,500 research papers, or create 15 slides power point with speak notes; but student can be creative in their topics of research.
  3. There is NO mandatory lectures or reading materials during the main courses of your undergraduate program. Since you will be evaluated based on your tasks, you should spend more your time finding relevant information to your assignments.
  4. GOE program promotes self-learning ability and for the learners to develops skills to find answers not always in the textbook.
  5. We provide Academic Assistance by our group of professors and teacher assistants who will help you finish your courses. They will answer all of your questions through chatting system and occasional Live lessons. We will also give you multiple feedbacks on your assignments to correct and improve; your TA can also give you advice on how satisfactory your tasks is.

Your certificate will show that you have successfully completed the Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences. It will also show that the awarding body is the UK university that you have selected when applying. Your degree will not mention “online” nor GOE.

It depends on your program & university choice and your status of completion. Some students have applied for online program but switched to on-campus program during their studies. They were successfully able to switch because the program and university offered the on-campus program that aligned with the online courses. Switching from program is not recommended and may occur in additional charges.
